Does the t mobile Sidekick take prepaid cards?
Any T-Mobile phone can be used with prepaid if you just put a SIM card from a prepaid account into it. There’s a special prepaid plan for Sidekicks, it’s one dollar a day for unlimited web, email, and messaging, with calls at 15 cents a minute. For non-Sidekick phones, you can either choose Pay As You Go (the rates change depending on the amount of the refill) or Pay By The Day, which is one dollar a day for unlimited T-Mobile-to-T-Mobile and unlimited nights after 7 pm, with other calls at ten cents a minute. On the non-Sidekick plans, texting is five cents to receive and ten cents to send. If you already have a T-Mobile prepaid account, you can just put the SIM into a Sidekick (or any other T-Mobile phone) and just switch plans online. I think you can also do it in t-zones directly on the phone.
