Does the United Way of Monmouth County pay dues to the United Way of America?
UWMC pays about 1% of Campaign income in dues to the UWA. In return for these dues our local United Way receives the benefits of national television, radio and print advertising, market research data, campaign videos, training and information sharing and other services. These dues also provide credits for educational conferences attended by UWMC staff and volunteers. The total dollar value of these services far exceeds the dues paid by our organization.
