Does the Via Rail station in Toronto have luggage storage lockers or anything similar?

Unfortunately Union Station took away all their public storage lockers a number of years ago, but way, there’s still hope! If you have a VIA Rail ticket, go to the baggage counter in the departures lounge, and ask to leave your bags there for a while. The attendant will normally be more than willing to oblige, and will place your bags in the checkroom, and give you a ticket to get them back later. This service supposedly costs $3 per bag, but from my experience the attendant will often do it for no charge. If the train you’re going to be taking has checked baggage service, then you might even consider checking your bags early. If you aren’t going to need anything out of your bags again, then this way you won’t have to worry about them again until you arrive at your destination!
