Why don't you want your provider to know? Most people are entitled to this money, it won't make a difference if they know, so long as the childcare fee is paid on time, they won't care the funds come from. I am a registered childminder and have for the last few years had several phone calls from the Inland Revenue asking for confirmation on children's attendance, start date and childcare fees etc. There has been a couple of incidences whereby parents were still claiming even though they were no long attending my facility, one parent claimed 4 full years of childcare after only attending 2 months her child then an infant and believe me that parent will have to pay back over £25,000 which cannot be accounted for by any other childcare provider, or even taken to court to be prosecuted as a deliberate act of fraud.
