B-12 is recommended for diabetics because they are at a higher risk for developing heart disease and other ailments. The only problem is that with diabetics it is going to be harder to see the results as far as energy and such, because blood sugar levels can affect mood, energy levels, etc. If a person’s blood sugar is unstable, the effects of B-12 (though good) will not be as noticeable until the person’s blood sugar is under good control.
