Does UCSB offer Triple Rooms?
UCSB guarantees housing for incoming freshmen who meet the deadlines. So if they freshman class is larger than anticipated, we will put three to a room in some of the traditional double occupancy rooms to meet that guarantee. We consider triple rooms temporary and once we have vacancies in other doubles, students will be moved out of the triples into those vacant areas. Please budget for a double since you or one of your roommates may be moved out and your room will then be billed at the double rate.
