Staff from UNRWA and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) work together to run essential services for Palestine refugees, continuing a tradition of UNRWA-NGO partnership and co-operation which dates back to the establishment of the Agency. They are generally medical-humanitarian, human rights and development oriented. In particular, partnerships afford technical expertise and training. The Palestinian Authority falls under the same category as the host governments of Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. Until the refugee issue is solved and as long as there is a need for relief, UNRWA will continue providing services to the refugees in these areas.
