Does voltage in a circuit increase if resistance increases?
Short answer is it depends on the circuit, also for explanation Ill just be referring to simple resistive networks with a single independent source We know ohms law says V=IR so it would assuming I is constant. It can be constant if you have say a current source that produces a constant current so changing the resistance value changes the voltage drop across it. If you have a constant voltage source in your circuit then changing the resistance will not change the voltage at all (it is set by the source) the current will change instead. Also, if you have multiple resistors (again with a constant voltage source) in series (in a row) then the voltage drop across a single resistor will change but the overall voltage will remain the same.
