Does Web Accelerator work in a LAN configuration?
Yes, Web Accelerator will work in a Local Area Network, Wireless Network, peer-to-peer, or with Microsoft Internet Connection Sharing (ICS). Web Accelerator needs to be installed on each PC that needs acceleration. You can share one service with other computers on the network but only one computer will receive acceleration at a time. If you need the computers accelerated at the same time, each computer needs to have its own service with iiNet. No special configuration is needed for Web Accelerator to work.
