Does writing improve lung function and quality of life in patients with asthma?

0

A research study conducted in the USA suggested that three sessions of expressive writing can improve lung function in patients with asthma. Professor Helen Smith is running a randomised controlled trial, funded by Asthma UK, to see if these results can be replicated in a primary care setting in the UK. General practices in Brighton and Hove PCT are being invited to participate. If you are interested in taking part or would like more information please contact: Alice Theadom (research fellow) Tel: 01273 642186 Email: a.theadom@bsms.ac.
