Does yahoo messenger work in china?

Yeah, all you have to do is look at the bottom of the this page to see where Yahoo's established. I think you're trying to get to a bigger question though and that's about how free are the people in China to express themselves or say things in China. I can tell you for certain that Yahoo IS monitored and censored there. I remember 2-3 years ago when Yahoo first went into China and how the world community was outraged because of the censorship that was part of the deal. Yahoo HAD to give total control to the Chinese government and because of the Billion people population, Yahoo bellied-up, sucked wind and gave in to the demands! Greed!
