Doesn creating a “Roadmap” of the passage waste too much time?
Quite the opposite: it’s the fastest way to get through the passage and score big points. Keep in mind what a Roadmap is: a brief outline of the passage that will allow you to quickly find the information that you’ll need to answer a question. The questions will only test a few of a passage’s numerous details. Without a Roadmap, you would have to search through every line of every passage. But with a Roadmap, you’ll immediately be able to identify which paragraph a question concerns-and then read or reread that paragraph to uncover the answer.
