Yes, but like with all life, the major amount of energy they expend is for digesting food. Very little extra energy is available to kick it into high gear and get a transformation job done extra fast. The Garden Answer energizes the bugs in the soil so they expend the energy to reproduce faster, eat faster and poop more which produces more topsoil.
