Download all and Download selection behave strangely with LeechGet: i.e. why is the former so slow and why doesn the latter preserve the original referrer?

LeechGet has currently an automation interface that is somehow less flexible than other supported download managers. To work around this problem, FlashGot lets LeechGet parse internally the original URL, and it works quite well for Download all, even though it fetches the page again (so it’s a bit slower) and could potentially catch less links than the “pure FlashGot” system, because it misses JavaScript dynamic generated links. The Download selection implementation is even more tricky, because FlashGot has to build an intermediate html page including the selected link and pass it to LeechGet for parsing: since LeechGet doesn’t support fetching local (“file://”) URLs, I had to implement a very rudimentary HTTP server inside the browser (yes, don’t laugh!) to serve the page on the fly, from URLs like “http://localhost:1234/URLLIST.html”: obviously, this will become the refer(r)er.
