During the first three years of residency, what rotations are geared for the plastic surgery-designated general surgery resident?
First-year residents rotate one month on plastic surgery. Second-year residents rotate two months on plastic surgery, take call, and do one month of burn surgery. Third-year residents spend three months on plastic surgery, take call, and do one month on breast surgery, oral/maxillofacial surgery, otolaryngology/head and neck surgery, and Mohs derm surgery.
