Ear Tube Plugs – How crucial are earplugs?

0

If you get water in your ears, it’s going to take all of the debris in your ear canal and drip it right into your middle ear… and you’ll get another ear infection. If you’re getting water in your ears while you’re showering, you probably aren’t putting the earplugs in far enough or you don’t have the right size. Generally people have pretty small ear canals, so squish the plugs down REALLY small and put them as far as you can into the canal. Then dry your outer ear off after the shower before you pull the plug out. You don’t want to get ANY water down your ear canal or it’s just counteracting your PE tubes.
