electron jumps occur more rapidly with more energy levels?

I am not actually certain that there is a correlation between the size of an atom and the number of energy levels available to its electrons. If one atom DID have more energy levels available to it, there would be more emission lines, since there would be more possible jumps for an electron to make from one level to another.
