&#10A: Polyester will not shrink and cotton will. Polyester is difficult to rip and cotton is very easy to rip. Polyester hangs flatter, straighter and will not crease as easily cotton. Here is a photo showing a rip that was very easily created in cotton (Left) and the polyester (Right) only has minor damaged when much more force was exerted on the material in an attempt to rip it.
