Two 20″ pure gum rubber bands are supplied with each Coyote Slingshot along with two hand-cut, stamped leather ammo pouches – two different size pouches to accomodate different sizes of ammo. Before a band is attached to the forks, the band must be pre-stretched by holding the ends of the band in each hand and stretching to pull the band as far and wide as possible several times. The band is then inserted through the band slots of the pouch so the stamped side of the pouch will receive the ammo to be shot. After a band is properly attached to the forks of the slingshot, the pouch can be re-centered along the band loop regardless of the band adjustment for the lifetime of the band. This method of band attachment to the slingshot gives the shooter a way of always being able to re-center the pouch for accurate shots without the need to re-center the pouch then re-tie two separate bands.
