False Positive Pregnancy Test?

0

You cannot have a false positive unless you have an underlying medical condition, such as a miscarriage, where the hormones are still active, certain forms of birth control pills, or letting a pregnancy test sit for much longer than the recommended read time. Be aware though you can have MANY false negatives if the hormones were weak, such as in the beginning of a pregnancy, and the tests were having a hard time detecting them. I would see a doctor, and OB who will run bloodwork to confirm this. This is the only way to get your true answer. Good luck!

I took several dollar tree test before and almost all of them had a very faint positive at one point or another and I got my hopes up every time only to be let down. I would not trust them. I am currently 24 weeks with baby #2 and I used a cheap test from the Dollar General Store and it was immediately positive, and I went on to Take 3 more and all were positive. I’m sorry I know how disappointing it is!

You may well be, different pregnancy tests pick up different levels of HCG.. It is very unlikely that you had false positives. A lot more likely they were false negatives. Wait a week or so and do another test (or go back to planned parenthood) Good luck, with whichever way you want it to be!
