Feels Nice, Does it Color Protect?
I did not notice any, not a single extension in the life of my color. Again, I used this product without the “matching” color shampoo or foam, but with another Neutrogena shampoo. Though I overall felt this to be a decent conditioner for the price, I did not feel it did anything for color. Additionally, I did not like any of the shampoos that I tried for frequent use – all seemed to make my hair itch over extended use. Since I cannot yet find a Neutrogena shampoo I like (and, yes, I have to have my shampoo and conditioner often match) I doubt I would be buying Neutrogena Clean Color-Defending Conditioner again. There was nothing I found extra special about this conditioner that made me want to try another bottle.
