First, you will need a newsgroup reader. I have used Entourage (available as part of the MS Office suite), and now I use the Mozilla suite (available for free download from Mozilla.org). After you get these programs, you have to go into preferences and tell the computer what news server you want (this is usually provided through your Internet Service Provider). You then download the entire list of newsgroups (for a cable modem or DSL, this will take about a minute), and then find alt.fan.barry-manilow and hit “Subscribe”. If you don’t want to go through this rather complicated process, you can at least read the posts on Google Groups: Go to the Google main page and hit the “Groups” button, then type “alt.fan.barry-manilow”. By clicking on “About this Group”, you can go back and read any post ever written (including the first one, written on July 19, 1994).

What is your question?

*Sadly, we had to bring back ads too. Hopefully more targeted.
