For Catholics who pray the Rosary:Why is it that evangelical Christians don believe in praying it?
Multiple reasons. Some believe that all prayer is worship. Some are not aware of the teaching purposes of the rosary for a large illiterate population. Some believe Mary and others we believe as saints are not in heaven until the general Resurrection. Some believe that formula prayers are unacceptable to God. Some believe that physical reminders of the sacred border on or are idols. There are accepted ways to interpret the Bible that Catholics disagree with. Catholics believe that while the essential teachings of the Apostles is contained in Scriptures, they hold that not all is. These two result in the Catholic liturgy and Sacraments which are held by some as unBiblical despite the Catholic believe that scripture and tradition are both Apostolic teachings and cannot contradict each other.
