For IDSafeguards members, what is the process to report an incident of identity theft?
Our members can report the incident by logging in and submitting a Theft Event Report, or by calling the Victim Assistance Center at 800-939-4170. You will be contacted by a member of the Recovery Department within 24 hours of the initial report. Once your case is opened, your Recovery Advocate will work on your behalf in order to resolve any complications the theft creates.
