For the Pizza Hut Book It Program, can parents read to the child?
Yes. The child may read alone or another child or adult can read to the kindergarten child. We know that reading aloud is important in the development of word knowledge, decoding and fluency. When one book is read, simply complete the item on the form and when 10 books are completed, return the form to the classroom teacher and a free pizza certificate will be rewarded. Have fun sharing reading time together.
