A customer’s credit card could be rejected for several reasons, but the most frequent reason is due to data entry errors. Things like invalid zip code or transposing a number in their account number are very common. Upromise needs to validate that the card is valid and is registered to the address indicated as the billing address when enrolling the card at Upromise. The Upromise web site will advise customers if their credit card fails verification.
