My son is 4 months old too and has been doing the same thing. It passed about a day or two ago. He’s back to normal. I don’t know what it was – my son kept rubbing his eyes. I was starting to think pink eye but it never occured. With an ear infection there will be a fever. So if she developes a fever (even a mild one) and continues to grab at her ear. I suggest taking her in, if no fever developes hopefully in a day or two she’ll be back to her smiley self again.
