Until further notice, the Rock Island County Waste Management Agency has suspended white goods collection services provided by Scientific Industries due to a breach of contract. Currently, residents may for a fee of $5.00 take their appliances to the Scott Area Landfill for recycling. For information or directions for disposal of your white goods at Scott Area Landfill, please call 563-381-1300. Rock Island County Waste Management apologizes for the inconvenience and will continue to work to restore the service for Rock Island County residents as soon as possible.
