From making documentaries and short films, was the shift to making a film easy?

From my early childhood days, I have never done anything other than making pictures. Drawing and painting is what I have done throughout my life. I also studied drawing and painting. Cinema was an extension of that. Apart from scale, there really is no difference between making short films and feature films. All my short films are narrative in nature, so the only difference is duration and scale. Now that expectations have risen, what are you planning next? I am working on a film based on pre-cinema magic lantern slides, supported by the India Foundation for the Arts. Apart from this, I am working on a Malayalam film based on a Buddhist story set in contemporary times.
