Handspring Visor Neo – where can I find free programs?”
Overall Evaluation: I wanted a pda that was simple, straightforward and under $100- nothing fancy. This fit the bill fine and works well but no longer in production. Found one new one through pricegrabber and is working great. Only limitation is 8MB of memory. This is fine for what I use it for (addresses, calendar, phone numbers, etc) but not enough to run many of the higher powered programs today – mp3’s etc. No color screen = long battery life. Takes 2 regular AA(or maybe AAA… can’t remember) batteries. Great buy for me in June 2004. http://www.pcworld.com/reviews/product/7382/tests/visor_neo.html And here is what might happen if you try to download a program that you don’t have enough memory: I originally tried downloading a program without enough memory on my palm. It failed and now there is insufficient memory to open normal applications. I tried to sync it, but it now fails everytime
