Has a team in Ghana ever won the Premier League title without losing a single match?
Accra Great Olympics won the 1970-71 League without a single defeat. It is the only Ghanaian club to have played (37)38 matches both local and international without a single defeat. The celebrated former coach of Accra Hearts of Oak and now with Liberty Professionals, Sir Cecil Jones Attuquayefio, then a player of Great Olympics, played for that team. The closest a club came to accomplishing that feat was in 1964. Kumasi Asante Kotoko had played 22 league matches and were still undefeated.
