Your face will inevitably be bruised because wisdom can be very difficult to remove. I’m sure the roots go down to your feet : ) The bruising will take several days to come out and then begin to fade. As our friend above said it is a surgical procedure and things like bruising and a cut in the back of you lip is not unusual. Again our friend above has outlined medication for the pain. I did have a problem a few years ago when I had all four wisdom teeth out in a dentist’s chair. I did’nt know the dentist he was just handy from where I worked. He took three after much pushing and shoving and additional injections but when he came to the fourth he used so much force that he broke my jaw bone. I had to go to Guys Hospital, where they had wonderful dental facilities and they sort me out. Teeth I hate them. How can such a small thing relative to the body cause so much pain. I hope you recover soon, in the meantime no laughing because it will hurt.
