Has anyone had a bad Wedding Dress experience?
That IS horrible! I worked in retail for years, and those kind of high-pressure sales techniques are what give salespeople a bad name. Check the place out with the Better Business Bureau, see if there have been other complaints, and file on of your own. Let them know you have done so. My wedding is in October also, and I was rabid to get my dress out of the way. I was waffling about what style I wanted, but my eye kept going back to one I saw on preownedweddingdresses.com. Imagine my delight when I saw the same dress offered by the same vendor through eBay! I ordered and paid, but had trouble communicating with the company. I had to complain to eBay and get their phone number. Even calling it took 3 days to get a response. I gave them my measurements, they sent me a size too small. It took a week to get in touch with them again. I asked for the next size up, they said no problem. They sent a dress TWO sizes up… too big. Another week, and no response.
