Has anyone made their own wedding bouquet, is it difficult?

One of my bridesmaids and I made our bouquets. It was pretty darn easy! Here’s my suggestions: 1. Get a couple dozen roses or whatever flowers you want ahead of time, and practice (believe me, the peace of mind is worth it). You can get a good idea of how long it’ll take, and how much help you’ll need. 2. Order your flowers in bulk from a reputable place. I did bulk roses from Costco.com, but looks like you’re in the UK…. not sure where your best bet is there. Or, you can just order them (unarranged) from a local florist and pick them up the day before the wedding. 3. Use the guidelines on eHow (link below). I followed these directions almost exactly, and my bouquets looked great! The only change I made was with the ribbon. Instead of tying the ends in a bow, I just folded them under and secured with pearl bouttoniere pins (just stick them straight into the bundle of stems). Viola!
