Has anyone noticed people are getting ruder and more jealous?
Waiters and sales assistants, etc. are people too and I’m sure they have also noticed that “people are getting ruder.” People are getting ruder to them too as if they don’t have enough problems with their low-paying jobs. As you can well imagine, waiters and sales assistants work directly with the public. They are in constant contact with rude people. Constantly. I guess the blackness you see in their eyes is their disheartenment in humankind. Give them a little sympathy. It is others that have brought them down.
