Has anyone read The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas?
I was actually really disapointed by it…i don’t like the way that it was written 🙁 Have you read Frank McCourt’s ‘Angela’s Ashes’ before?The way in which McCourt writes…he really captures a child’s voice, which makes his book powerful and highly emotive. The author of the ‘Boy in the Striped Pyjama’s’ fails miserably in capturing a child’s voice.This irritated me beyond belief because i found the book unconvincing and irritating. It dragged on and reached no real climax. The ending was a relief!!!! Definately give ‘Angela’s Ashes’ a try if you like that sort of thing : ) It is a good read!
