Has anyone travelled national express train?
Tens of thousands of people have travelled on them. For a long ride like that I’d prefer a more roomy and comfortable Nat Ex 225 train to a Virgin Pedolino one – I always think Pedolinos look more like Tube stock than like intercity trains. If you book an off-peak ticket in advance the fares can be very cheap, if you travel a peak times and buy on the day it can be very costly. To see who often they run and how long it takes, just glance at the timetable. Yes, the trains do tend to arrive undamaged.
