Many clients are interested in by-products and VOC, SVOC, PAH and AKA analyses were made in an attempt to identify by-products of oxidation. In no instance were toxic compounds found. In the MtBE work, no toxic by-products were found even when additional analyzes for TBA, TBF, and formic acid, were made. It is our experience that most clients are only interested in the destruction of target compounds and limited the analysis to those compounds.
