Has the Bush family ever had a criminal prosecution?
Prescott Bush was found guilty of trading with Nazi Germany during WWII. George Bush’s other grandfather was also found guilty. Several of George Bush’s brothers created the savings and loan crisis and were convicted. Laura Bush killed a pedestrian in a drunking hit and run accident, but was let off. Several of Bush’s daughters and nieces were convicted of underage drunking and related charges. George Bush, himself, was convicted of drunken driving on several occasions and of concain possession. There is also the matter of his criminal record in Texas which he had sealed as governor. No one knows what was in there that was so bad that he needed to seal it.
