Has the Chevron East Kalimantan gas hub development plan been approved?

0

A. The plan of development is there, but we need to look at it further because Chevron said it is going to require considerable costs to develop the gas. At the moment, the only new LNG is from the Senoro-Donggi project for 2 million tons per year, while at Bontang, we will lose significant output by the time term contracts expire in 2011, with the government at the moment only committing 4 million tons/yr for exports. But these volumes will also be dependent on whether the government extends Total’s PSC at the Mahakam Block in East Kalimantan. We are also interested in a stake in that block.
