Has there ever been pregnancy in soap land that lasted 9 months?
No, I can’t think of a recent pregnancy on Home and Away or Neighbours that actually lasted 9 months so I see what you mean. On Neighbours, Bridget Parker found out she was pregnant in October 2008 and gave birth in June 2009 – that was a pregnancy lasting 8 months. Then in July 2009, poor Bridget died after a car crash, leaving her infant daughter India with Bridget’s newlywed hubby Declan Napier. On Home and Away, Rachel Armstrong-Holden found out she was pregnant in November 2008 and then gave birth in July 2009 – that’s just 8 months, and soon baby Harry seems to have been kidnapped (perhaps by that woman called Jane). And of course on Home and Away, Tasha Hunter found out she was pregnant in March 2006 and then gave birth to Ella in August 2006. For crying out loud, that is only 5 months! I will have to wait and see how long Susan Kennedy on Neighbours is pregnant with Libby’s child for. If it actually lasts 9 months for once, the baby won’t be born until April 2010.
