Has Windstream filed its paperwork?
MR: We have not filed our paperwork at this point and I would suspect that nobody is going to file until closer to the Aug. 14 deadline because the applications were just recently released and they’re pretty complex. There are a lot of attachments that have to go with them. And while we’ve been gearing up for filing for quite some time, we’ve only known about the actual rules for a little bit more than two weeks and we’ve only had a few days to get our arms around the application. So we’ve got a number of things to do, including final assessment of the rules to make sure this program would be beneficial. If we do file it would be much closer to Aug. 14 than July 14. KT: What would make you lean toward filing for stimulus money? MR: We’d lean toward filing if there is enough money available either through RUS or NTIA to make projects that today are uneconomical economical – in other words, there are places we cannot get an adequate return on the investment.
