Honduras We are closely monitoring the negotiations that are in progress in Tegucigalpa between the two parties. Once again we are appealing to the parties’ sense of responsibility given that the continuation of the crisis is adversely affecting the population. Honduras was plunged into a crisis three and a half months ago which is leading to a disturbing deterioration in the situation in terms of fundamental rights and freedoms and also to serious economic and social problems.
