Have Milan already beaten Chelsea and Man City for Thiago Silva’s signature?
Thiago Silva’s Wikipedia page currently states that he has agreed to sign a four year contract with AC Milan, depending on a medical to be held on Sunday. The 24-year-old Fluminese star, however, is also reported to be a target of Chelsea (who need a replacement for Alex) and Manchester City (who feel the need to offload a shedload of cash that he’s been burning a hole in their pockets since the last window). The Sun “exclusively” claim the centre back will join Big Phil’s men, while the man himself has spoken of a Robinho endorsement in The Telegraph: “They have also started to show Manchester City games in Brazil because of Robinho. “He told me he was going to suggest me to City. It is the best help you can get, coming from the star of the team. It is a privilege.” The speedy defender could cost as little as £3m as he will soon be out of contract, but the race to snap him up will undoubtedly inflate his price.
