Have Muslims ever gone to war during Ramadan?

0

I don’t know about GOING to war but war did come to them in Ramadan. The early Muslims migrated from Mecca after enduring thirteen years of persecution, torture and even death. Their enemies wouldn’t leave them alone even then. They amassed an army of over 1000 to go all the way to Medina to fight about 300 Muslims with the aim of wiping them out. THIS WAS IN RAMADAN. So it was die fighting or die sitting down. Permission to take up arms had come in HQ 22:39 “To those against whom war is made, permission is given (to fight), because they are wronged;- and verily, God is most powerful for their aid” ill-prepared, ill-equipped and outnumbered, they still had a resounding victory and sent their attackers running back to Mecca. They’re still not left alone though, the Mongols sent in their ferocious armies, then the crusaders swarmed in creating rivers of blood according to some Christian accounts and now it’s the turn of the armies from across the Atlantic.
