They are tested at the origin and again when they arrive in the USA. The testing in the USA is a randomized batch testing procedure. In addition, inspections are routinely performed at our facility by our QA staff to ensure quality assurance standards are being met. Recent and past testing has revealed that Purina Pet Gear products fall well within the acceptable government guidelines for lead and other metal levels.
