17 years ago I had emergency bypass surgery. I’m only alive today because I watch my diet and exercise. You need to talk to someone familiar with the case, but in general terms; Watching salt, sugar, fat & caffine are the way to go. It may not mean close to zero on any of these. For the first 15 years I only watched my fat. I did not understand the dangers of sugar. I no longer drink any sugared drinks. I eat anything with sugar now in moderation. If I have too much sodium, my lungs get congested, I get very weak and sometimes I can’t speak full sentances (it’s been a year since it was that bad), but sodium has the most immediate bad effect on me. There is no doubt that my watching my fat has extended my life. Stay away from fast food. The sodium and fat are ridiculous. READ READ READ. Don’t read “fad diets”.
