Help! Is there ANY way to make my period go away?!?
I know only one way to completely eliminate periods: Get a hysterectomy. I know of two way to stop your period for several months: 1) Get pregnant. 2) There are some new birth control pills on the market that will re-regulate you so that you only experience your period 3 or 4 times a year. I recommend the last option if your doctor approves and you can afford the pills.
Yeah, I had my period for 10 days in the first month that I was taking birth control, when I usually had it for about five days. It actually takes two months to fully get into your system, my period was normal the second month though. UM, make sure he wears a condom on Monday even though you are on birth control… As I said, it doesn’t fully get into your system for two months. My boyfriend and I always use a condom, despite my being on the pill. Also, there are ways that you can change the date that you’re going to get your period with the pill… but you can’t just stop it while it’s going on.
