HELP!!! my guinea pig has crooked teeth and can eat properly, what do i do?
Probably malocclusion. It’s for lack of words, where the teeth grow improperly. Sometimes it can be treated. I have seen rats have the teeth removed and that has worked, but more often than not they go in every so often to have the teeth trimmed down. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC339280/ You need to take it to an exotics vet and discuss your options. You may learn how to handle it at home but you need to take her to the vet regardless. It is painful and will leave her unhealthy since she can’t eat properly.
