Highlights – what is the difference between a mini, partial or a full-head?

Mini highlights means that foils are strategically placed on the top of your head only. This provides a very natural sun-kissed look. Partial highlights means that the foils are placed on the top and the sides of your head. This allows you to pull your hair up and back on the sides and the hair colour appears to be evenly distributed. Full highlights means that the foils are placed all over the head – top, sides and back. These highlights will show an even distribution of the highlighted colour through all of your hair whether you wear it up, down or pulled back.

When I do hair highlighting for a client, I use only high-quality materials, one of these is 15 micron foil sheets https://vellen-hair.com/collections/hair-foil/products/5×11-pop-up-foil-sheets-500-sheets-15-micron-2 . Clients don’t mind the extra care: because foiling results in a more dramatic change in color and brightness, it’s just more noticeable as the hair grows back. After my procedures, clients do not need to often come in for touch-ups in order to maintain their appearance.
